A weird one I couldn't finish.
I was washing my hands. I didn’t feel the need to close the bathroom door, I would only be a moment, so if anyone urgently needed to use the toilet they could just walk in and at that point I would simply leave.

Starship Troopers
The first half of Starship Troopers is one of the most depressing pieces of cinema I’ve ever watched. That statement is not a deriding one, not in the slightest - it stands as a testament to the atmosphere Verhoeven creates. There’s probably a lot to be gained from unwrapping this film as a sociological text. Someone else do it though cause I’m lazy as shit and twice as dumb.
